Chart not loading

    Chart not loading

    None of my charts are loading. The log shows the follwing error message when I try to load a new chart:

    "Received unknown error/warning: End Date/Time: The date, time, or time-zone entered is invalid. The correct format is yyyymmdd hh:mm:ss xxx where yyyymmdd and xxx are optional. E.g.: 20031126 15:59:00 US/Eastern Note that there is a space between the date and time, and between the time and time-zone. If no date is specified, current date is assumed. If no time-zone is specified, local time-zone is assumed(deprecated). You can also provide yyyymmddd-hh:mm:ss time is in UTC. Note that there is a dash between the date and time in UTC notation."

    I amb connected to Interactive Brokers.

    OK, solved, it was the TWS version. You must use 10.16.1k

      Thank you for your inquiry and for the update.

      That is correct. This error comes from using an incompatible version of TWS. As you mentioned, supported build is 10.16.1k.

        Hi. I'M having the same problem. I'm using TWS 10.20.1b (which is the lastest).
        Does it mean I should uninstall that version of TWS and try and locate, then install the older version (10.16.1k)???

        Later: I've been looking for that old version of TWS on their site and can't find it.

        Can anyone help with this???

          The currently build of NinjaTrader is not compatible with that release of TWS. The only supported version at this time is the aforementioned 10.16.1k, which does not seem to be available to most international clients at this time. We are hoping to cut a release of NinjaTrader to allow for compatibility for this version instead. Unfortunately, I don't have a specific release date to share the moment but it will appear on our Release Notes page when it's ready.

            Hi Zachary. Thanks for the response.

            I found a link to 10.16.1k, installed it and can now connect with data.

            Some charts are working, some are not, probably caused by the changes IBKR has made to their "symbol mapping". I'll work on that and see how far I can get.
