One NT is leaving Trades separated. On Laptop, Trades are automatically Merged

Trades on Laptop with NT 8 V25 are being merged and I can't place both open Buys and Sells on the Chart... On my PC ...upgraded from V24 to V25.... Trades are not merged, I can have Open Buy and Sell Orders on the same chart and if I close a trade with open orders on the chart, they remain...

    Hello webicknell,

    Thanks for post.

If these are live orders please contact your broker immediately to manage any open positions or orders.

Next can you please provide screenshots of your charts from both your Laptop and your PC to clarify the issue you are experiencing.
To capture a screenshot with Windows 7 or newer I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.Alternatively to capture a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and attach the file to your reply. Thanks in advance; I look forward to resolving this item.

These are Live Orders and Trades.... I have no problems managing the Trades.... My issue is how they are treated in the different instances....

My PC... I can place multiple Buy and Sell Open Orders on either side of current Price... I can activate one trade and then another.... I can separately move the Stops and Profit Targets on either Trade. I have to close the 2 trades separately and if I close both trades and still have Open Orders (not trades) on either the Buy or Sell Side, they remain and I can continue to work them.

On my Laptop, I can place multiple Buy Orders, but it will not let me place Open Orders on both the Buy and Sell side. If I activate one trade and then a 2nd one after price moves a little, NT combines those 2 trades into one.... With a single Stop and Profit Target... I cannot separate them. If I close an active trade with an Open Order there, NT will remove the open order.

Trying to determine where and how in NT I can manage how NT works with these Trades and Orders.... I am on V25 on both machines.

        Hello webicknell,

To achieve this you will want to use the following steps to change your ATM Strategy selection mode on your Laptop.
        • Right click in in the SuperDOM->Properties
        • Select "Keep selected Atm strategy template on order submission" from the ATM Strategy selection mode drop down menu
        • Click Ok
With this mode your positions will get their own stop loss and targets instead of being combined to an existing strategy. I have included a link below to our Help Guide that goes over the different ATM Strategy Selection Modes.Let me know if I may be of further assistance.

Thank you... This worked.... Except I do not use the Super Dom... I use Chart Trader... I right Click on Chart Trader and Select Properties... Top line item is "ATM Strategy Selection Mode".... When I adjusted it here, it did what I was looking for.... Thanks
