    NT8 Clock & Countdown Indicator

    Good Monday colleagues,
    Please, I need to make a query that may be easy but after being dedicated a long time I can not solve.

    I have in my workspace one indicator that shows me the current time and also tells me the countdown of the bar of my chart: Two things.
    But my indicator has an offset of several seconds with respect to what should be correct. This lag means that the indicator is running ahead.

    My question is if there is an official Ninjatrader 8 indicator to count down the bar of your chart.
    My second question if there is not an official indicator, then can you tell me if it is possible to solve my problem.

    I confirm that I have also made the test by opening a chart only and I have the same problem. That is, without using my workspace that I have several tabs of different temporalities.
    And I also confirm that I have tested with another different indicator that only makes me a countdown and does not give me the current time, and also this second indicator has the problem of being several seconds ahead.

    Thank you for your inquiry.​

    By default, there is an indicator included called "BarTimer" that can be applied to the chart to show the remaining time before the bar closes.

    I'd like to take a look at your log and trace files for this issue. These files contain diagnostic information related to what is occurring on your platform that will help us resolve this issue in a timely manner.

    Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to [email protected] with "03365813 ATTN Kimberly H" in the subject line and a link to this forum post in the message body so I may investigate this matter further.
    • Open the Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to, "Documents" > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
    • Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
    • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

      I think I was able to fix the error in my indicator.
      I followed your instructions and it seems to be working. I used the indicator itself that comes from Ninjatrader and not using the one I had from long ago.
