Initial Setup with R-Trader

I've opened an account with Ninja Trader but how do I get set up with R-Trader? Do I have to open up another account?

Thank you for the post.

NinjaTrader Brokerage does not offer Rithmic data and is only enabled for NinjaTrader Continuum data. Can you please clarify where you are receiving Rithmic data from?

that's what i wanted to know - you have guides to connect with Rithmic but i'm not sure how to get started with it.

i started a demo from rithmic.com and i try to connect it with ninja and i receive the error message :

The IB you are trying to connect to is not authorized to use NinjaTrader with Rithmic for NinjaTraderBrokerage

You may want to try using the "Generic" Rithmic connection to set up this demo, however, I am not sure a Demo provided by Rithmic will connect in NinjaTrader 8.

I don't see Rithmic as one of the available connections in NT8, only Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage - i've made sure to update it to the newest version of NT8 as well

solved, i found an old license key to use which has the old rithmic connection - the connection works
