Running NT7 and NT8 Together on the same computer

I have 2 NinjaTrader licenses. On one computer I can run both NT7 and NT8 side by side. On my second computer connecting NT7 knocks NT8 off and visa versa.
On my first computer this operation works fine.

Any ideas?

Thank you for writing a note to us.

This is expected behavior as you can only be logged into a single username one instance at a time. However, you can get a second login for your account so you can run NinjaTrader 7 and 8 at the same time.

We will be able to provide separate logins for your account which would give you the ability to login from separate computers, or simultaneously on the same computer on different trading platforms.

• Each username that we provide is subject to market data subscription fees.

• There is an additional $10 a month fee to enable an additional login.

Why does it work on one computer and not the other?

I would like to use just NT8 but it still has a problem after several years with my 3rd party vendor's software. They have worked with NinjaTrader to solve a problem where NT8 randomly dissapears from my screens with no warning. This problem requires reloading NT8 to get going again. Not Good!

This problem has forced me to use NT7 along side of NT8. I would love it if these problems were solved and I could move solely to NT8.
