Trend Channel Performance issues / crashing

I've been experiencing some performance issues/crashing.
I have tracked this down to the TrendChannel tool, and have reproduced the issue in a clean Ninjatrader installation 8.0.26.1 64-bit .


Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a clean chart of NQ
2. Draw a few TrendChannel objects
3. Flip the chart to 6E and flip back and forth between NQ and 6E

There are performance issues and eventually the chart will freeze and the platform will crash.

I just replicated your steps and my platform crashed as well. I will report this to my colleagues.

Is there any solution available on how to fix this? My platform crashes several times per day because of this TrendChannel issue. I use them a lot. It is not necessary to wait for a new build since the TrendChannel source code can be modified locally.

Also.... When are we getting a new Upgrade to Ninjatrader? I've reported many bugs with the current version but there's been no new release for 4 months.

Our Development team has fixed the issue for a new release of the NinjaTrader platform, which should be available in November, we don't have the exact date yet.
