    Difficulties deleting Drawing Objects

    Hi,

I have some difficulties deleting Drawing objects.
I create several lines with the Draw.Line command.
I create them with the "Is Global" in my indicator.

When I select one of these lines in the Chart, they appear with th ename "@name" as they are global.
They appear in all charts (YM).
But I'm deleting the indicator, but I still have a lot of lines in the charts: in the chart where the indicator was placed as also in the other charts from YM.
In fact, I even have several ojects (lines) with reppeated names!

What should I take care of, when working with global objects?
May it happen, because I selected a line in the chart and I deleted it "manually"?
Maybe I have to delete the lines in all the charts?

Can you give me a kind of indicator, so that it would automatically delete created global objects?

    Thanks!

    Hello artson,

    Thank you for your note.

Do you see the same occur when the attached test indicator is applied to one chart, you open another chart of the same instrument, and then remove the test indicator from the first chart? Does the line drawn over the most recent 10 bars stay on the chart or does it disappear from both?

Thanks in advance; I look forward to assisting you further.

I cannot say when exactly it happens.
yesterday I deleted all global lines manually, closed the charts, till in no remaining chart there was a @line and then started again puting indicators.
Till now it seems to be ok

      It was probably a bug.....
I know, if have a local indicator, select a line from it, and delete it, it will prompt you to delete this indicator.
But, if you select a line, which is a global line (@line...) from an indicator, then you can delete this line separete, and the indicator will still remain.
It doesn't matter if you delete the line in the chart where the indicator is, or if you delete it in another chart where the indicator is not in, but where you can see the global lines.

        Hello artson,

        Thank you for your note.

That would be expected if the drawing object is drawn from a script, as changes to NinjaScript drawn objects would not propagate to all charts. I've added a vote for you to an existing feature request for this functionality, which is being tracked under the number SFT-2803.

As with all feature requests, interest is tracked before implementation is considered, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment. If implemented, it will be noted in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide.

Please let us know if we may be of further assistance to you.
