Export Addon Error

Hi,

I am trying to export a custom indicator.
The compilation is successful and the indicator is working as expected.

When I export the indicator, I am getting the error "Error in compile process: Array dimensions exceeded supported range."
I tired both export as compiled assembly and without. Same error.

Please help.

Thanks for your post.

Please remove any logic that is not necessary for reproducing the issue and test again to confirm the behavior can still be reproduced.

If the issue can still be reproduced, please send me the open source .CS file(s) so that I may investigate this matter further. Custom NinjaScript indicator files could be found in the Documents/NInjaTrader 8/bin/Custom/Indicators folder.

Hi Brandon,

For testing purposes, I created a new Indicator using the strategy builder, added no logic and compiled successfully.
After successful compilation, I tried to export and I am still getting the same error.

I checked in the Control panel logs and the bin/logs, no other errors except the error "Error in compile process: Array dimensions exceeded supported range"


I tried the same in another machine and it is getting exported.

Please share the reduced copy of the open source .CS file(s) here on the forums so that I may investigate this matter further. Custom NinjaScript indicator files could be found in the Documents/NinjaTrader 8/bin/Custom/Indicators folder.

Note that a reduced copy refers to a copy of the script that contains the minimum amount of code needed to reproduce the issue. All other code is commented out or removed.

To create a copy of your script to modify, open a New > NinjaScript Editor, select your script, right-click in the Editor, select 'Save as', name the script, and click OK.
