    SafeMode Windows Start Menu

    Having the ability to start NinjaTrader 8 in SafeMode from the Windows Start Menu is very helpful. Thanks.

    Unfortunately, it forces the use of the 32-bit version, and there seems no way to force it to use the 64-bit version. Changing the shortcut properties to point to the bin64 folder seems to have no effect. Can it be made to use the 64-bit version?

    Hello jeronyite,

    Thanks for your post.

    You could open the NinjaTrader 8 (64-bit) application in Safe Mode by holding the CTRL key and double-clicking on the NinjaTrader 8 (64-bit) application.

    To verify that NinjaTrtader 8 (64-bit) opened in Safe Mode, you could go to Control Center > Help > About.

      Thanks, NinjaTrader_BrandonH . Understood ... but this is about the Start Menu shortcut, which should start the 64-bit version, I believe. Given that the 32-bit version starts and immediately warns that one should be running the 64-bit version, that is the only sensible approach.
