Hi, I donīt get any forex data. Anything thatīs my fault and I didnīt get?
Futures work.
Lifetime NT8, NinjaTrader brokerage, NinjaTrader Continuum live/Sim101

I have an account with NinjaTrader Brokerage with paid market data, which obviously is only futures. Of course, that is what I wanted.
But apart from that: If I like to get Forex Data into NinjaTrader8 and if I like to trade Forex via NinjaTraderBrokerage: Do I have to get in addition to the existing 'continuum cqg' a free demo data via fxcm?
And, if yes, will there be a separate connection with separate login-data in NT8 for the Forex Data???

NinjaTrader Brokerage is only supported for futures; therefore, you will need to obtain a separate broker for Forex data. If you have additional questions, please let me know.

I tried, but when I want do configure the IB-connection in NT8, IB is not any more available. Earlier it was available.

The Data by Provider Help page indicates that Forex data are available from the following: Kinetick, BarChart, eSignal, FOREX.com/City Index, FXCM, Interactive Brokers, IQFeed, Oanda.

Of these, some are obviously only data providers, not brokers. FOREX.com/CityIndex and FXCM are mentioned above as Forex brokers. Does NinjaTrader also support Interactive Brokers and Oanda for Forex trading?

These providers are all that have been available within NinjaTrader. However, at this time the supported Forex brokers within NinjaTrader are City Index, Forex.com, FXCM, and Interactive Brokers.

Thanks, NinjaTrader_Alaura. What support, if any, is there for Oanda? Is it still a supported data provider? It is in the Data by Provider listing, but it is not listed as an available Connection type in the Connections > configure window.

Thanks for the comment, NinjaTrader_Alaura ... but when and where was the removal of Oanda announced? And why was it removed?

The current documentation approach sets up a conflict of information in the Help, because it speaks as if Oanda is still available, even to new clients. It needs to be clear to all users that Oanda information is left there for existing clients only and that Oanda is not available to new clients. A pointer to the announcement is also necessary to give full context.

Oanda is no longer enabling new brokerage accounts to connect to the NinjaTrader platform. We did not remove them as a supported broker; they decided to stop supporting our platform. As a result, it would only be possible to use NinjaTrader with Oanda if you were previously connected.

Nowhere on the NinjaTrader website do we advertise Oanda as a supported brokerage for new clients. The documentation that we have maintain on our website, such as the connection guide, is to support existing clients who are already using Oanda with NinjaTrader.

Still, when and where was this change announced? Why was NinjaTrader "de-supported"?

Also, saying that nowhere on the site is Oanda described as available for new clients, is not the same as stating that it is not available for new clients. That is a different thing and should be clearly stated.
