Strategy sync incorrect using Leeloo/Rithmic

    Strategy sync incorrect using Leeloo/Rithmic

    Hi,
    I am using a strategy developed by me using the Strategy Builder (no coding at all).
    When connecting the strategy to my Leeloo Rithmic account, it works fine until it enters a trade,
    strategy sync showing 'True'
    strategy positions showing 1 L/S
    account position showing Flat (while on Rithmic I can see the entered position)
    then when the strategy triggers an exit from the entered position, the strategy position shows the opposite 1 L/S (instead of being flat)
    the account position shows Flat (which is true at this point), but the strategy sync switches to False at this point which is wrong and I need to re-enable the strategy to get it synced with True again.

    I believe I am not the first one who discovered it, hopefully, you have a solution for me.
    The strategy was built with the Strategy builder as mentioned, so I am not a Coder, in case it's relevant.

    Thanks for posting.

    First, if this is a live trade please contact your broker's trade desk to manage your positions/orders.

    So I may look into this further please go to Help->Email Support and be sure to include Attn: Chris Jameson in the Subject line and a check in the box for "Log and trace files".

    Also in the body of the email can you provide the following information:
    • A link to this thread
    • What instrument were you trading?
    • When did this most recently occur, date and time?
    • What Order ID was assigned to this order? You can check in the Executions or Orders tab of the Control Center.
    Next please go to the Control Center->Connections->configure->Select your connection in the lower left panel and capture a screenshot of your settings.

    Lastly please restart R Trader Pro->Input the settings you use when connecting and capture a screenshot of these settings as well and attach both screenshots to your email.
    • To capture a screenshot with Windows 10 or newer I would recommend using the Windows Snipping Tool.
    • Alternatively to capture a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screenshot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save it as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment with your email.

      Maybe this helps, look here for an answer:
      Hello, I connected to Interactive brokers. My strategy uses OnOrderUpdate, OnExecution, and OnPositionUpdate and my strategy uses orderName as a key for example to identify Enter signalName or exit signalName and other uses. But According to help manual : The problem is that the order name does not passed by value data


      When using Rithmic or IB, there is no proper synchronization. Why the NT and the brokers can't get this right, I don't understand either. Rithmic says it's NT and NT says it's Rithmic. If you want to use e.g. the "Unmanaged Mode" and use with Rithmic or IB, you must necessarily manage your position yourself, otherwise you can forget it ;-)
