historical data

Renko, and ranges didnt use to work with ninjatrader + interactive brokers. but for some reason now it works on MNQ only (es doesnt work why is it that???). However, it doesnt load past a short period in the past. for example it will start today at 11am then it will just plot the incoming data. Forr volumetric bars, it just loads the live data.

Unfortunately, the historical tick data necessary for Renko and Range bars is not supported with Interactive Brokers.

You can choose to record incoming real-time data as historical tick data for any instruments you have an active chart open for.
Tools -> Options -> Market Data -> Real-time -> 'Record live data as historical'

Or you can subscribe to Kinetick to supplement the historical tick data.
