Why do I have to keep loading a chart template over and over again?

You guys should really think about hiring a UX designer and making this platform easier to navigate. Why can't I just have the same chart template automatically applied to every time frame, why do I have to keep loading the chart template everytime I change the time frames?

Does anyone know how to fix this, this is very annoying.

What version of NinjaTrader are you using? This may be found under Help > About. The current version of NinjaTrader is 8.0.26.1.

I'm not seeing the same need to reload a chart template when changing the instrument or time frame in the same chart window. Can you give step by step instructions to reproduce? If you can also include the template you are using (these are stored in Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > templates > Chart), that would be helpful.

I am changing from 1 hour to 15 minutes and the 15 minutes keeps defaulting to a chart setup I stopped using a few weeks ago and it won't stop doing that. I am using the latest version of ninja trader 8

Is any default template saved for charts? Does saving the current template you are using as the default template make a difference?

Does opening a new chart, applying the template, and then changing the time frame exhibit the same behavior?

yes, I have to keep replying the template I saved as default, it will revert to a former template I havent used in weeks nor do I have it saved as anything. I have loaded the default and it loads the chart I want, then I save that as default and it will still revert back

capture 1 is my default chart settings and capture 2 is an old chart I was attempting to mopdify to try and see if I liked different settings weekes ago but never stuck with, it keeps going back to that chart for some reason no matter what I do

I just fixed it by adjusting the template in the data series section
