Stop NT8 saving live data as historic data

Finally I am in process to move Ninjatrader 8.
I have a question:

Is it possible to copy (in specific folder) the data of some instruments in NT7 for a PenDrive and copy at the same time to a folder(specific) in Ninja 8?

Because I ask? Because in NT7 I have select one to one the date etc...... is much time....
But I do not want to do a backup in N7 ... only the historical data, because I have many instruments that I do not want it.

Hello jmagaia,

Unfortunately this is not supported. You can't manually copy over historical data files from NinjaTrader 7 to NinjaTrader 8.

You can transfer historical data with the migration process along with other items listed at the migration guide below.

You get the migration window in NinjaTrader 8 when you start it the first time providing NinjaTrader 7 and NinjaTrader 8 are installed on the same computer.

If you don't want to use the migration process, I suggest to load historical data anew in NinjaTrader 8.
