Micro (MICD) Dax Questions

Hi All,

Could anybody tell me what is the chart/contract for the Micro Dax and does it use the normal FDAX data feed.

I have emailed Ninjatrader directly but they don't respond.

Thank you for your note.

Micro DAX is FDXS 09-22. Please note that if you are using Interactive Brokers for your data, it is not possible to have the DAX, Mini and Micro DAX simultaneously; to use these on that connection type, additional steps are necessary to ensure the one you wish to use is enabled.

The symbol mapping for the FDAX, FDXS and FDXM are the same for Interactive Brokers. They have a separate multiplier to identify each one.

Since the symbol mapping is the same, the symbol mapping can only be included for one at a time in the Instrument Manager.

• FDAX: DAX|EUREX||25
• FDXM: DAX|EUREX||5
• FDXS: DAX|EUREX||1

By default, the FDXM and FDXS will be disabled. To use FDXM or FDXS instead of FDAX, please use these steps:

• From the Control Center, navigate to Tools -> Instruments.
• Search for FDXM or FDXS.
• Once found, click on the symbol in the list and select "edit".
• Scroll down to the Symbol Mapping for Interactive Brokers and delete the "-disabled" part of this Parameter.
• Click "OK" to save your changes.

Once this is done, please disable the FDAX instrument.

• From the Control Center, navigate to Tools -> Instruments.
• Search for FDAX.
• Once found, click FDAX and select "edit".
• Scroll down to the Symbol Mapping for Interactive Brokers and add in the "-disabled" just after the instrument name. This will look almost exactly like the FDXM instrument did before.
• Click "OK" to save your changes.

Please note these instructions are only necessary if your connection is through Interactive Brokers.
