Chart Problems

Hello,

Trying to setup in Ninjatrader but after I set everything up and switch the type to 20 minute, the chart completely shows up empty.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

This often happens when you are not connected to your data source. The charts work on the timeframes where data has already been downloaded and stored on the local machine, but new data must be downloaded whenever you query a new timeframe.Hope this helps.

Thanks for your post.

As Elynt has mentioned, a chart will load up blank if you are not connected to a Live data feed connection.

Please answer ALL of the following questions so that I may accurately assist.

• What version of NinjaTrader are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.? or 8.0.?.?)
• Who are you connected to? This is displayed in green on the lower-left corner of the Control Center window.
• What instrument symbol (and expiry if applicable) have you selected? For example, ES 03-22, AAPL, EURUSD, etc.
• (For a chart) what interval is selected? For example, 5 minute, 1 day, 2000 volume, 4 Renko, etc.
• Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?
