Will Ninjatrader Brokerage ever offer a performance center similar to Tradovate?

Hello,

Tradovate offers an eletronic/online portal which is always up to date and tracks net performance live.

In comparsion, Ninjatrader offers a downloadable PDF by end of day and says that the Trade Performance in Ninjatrader is not reliable for tracking trade performance.

Will Ninjatrader consider implementing something similar as Tradovate's performance center?

I'm considering leaving Ninjatrader Brokerage because of this. It feels very dated to not be able to have updated account information and net performance data available and to actually have to physically download a PDF and enter data into an Excel sheet manually.

Well NinjaTrader acquired Tradovate, so they are probably in the process integrating both platforms into 1 user interface with I assume that net performance feature but who knows how long it will take.

All this is correct, but still speculative unless Ninja can make a comment. My hunch is that their reply at best will be that this is something they will eventually implement, but they can't give an exact time and date. And knowing Ninja we will be no closer to an answer next year at the same date. I'm not saying this to be mean, it's just the truth, IMO.

Questions to other users:

How do you feel about not being able to have your net performance data available to you online? And having to rely on PDF statements? Am I the only one who feels this is a bit dated in 2022?

Of course, you can use the Trade Performance on Ninja as an approximation of performance which is quite close, but it will never be quite accurate. And maybe you need to reset the database or make a new install. What then?

It's just not a robust solution for tracking performance data, in my opinion. And this is so important to me that I'm seriously considering other options because of it.

NinjaTrader does not have a performance center as you have described at this time.

That said, we are tracking interest for this feature in an internal ticket and I have added your vote. This request is being tracked under the number SFT-5541.

As with all feature requests, interest is tracked before implementation is considered, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment. If implemented, it will be noted in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide.
