    No live Data

    Started off this morning with no live data feed, so I logged off and on several times with no luck. Tried logging in this afternoon, now it is saying invalid user or password. How do I get my account reset?

    NT8 latest version (8.0.26.1) -- OS: Windows 10 x64 Enterprise (Version: 21H2, Build: 19044.1826; latest patches/updates as of today)

    I am having similar issues today with Kinetick -- verified username/password are correct with no extra spaces, etc.; verified with DTN that my account is good; DTN server seems to be fine since it connects to the free end-of-day Kinetick feed; repaired the NT8 installation just in case; verified my NIC settings and network drivers are good (also verified connection settings / ipconfig stats in powershell) -- still can't resolve it. The below logs are directly associated with this issue (Live connection name is 'DTN Kinetick RT' and the order of events is 'most recent on top' since the logs don't show milliseconds):

    7/22/2022 20:39 Connection DTN Kinetick RT: Primary connection=Disconnected, Price feed=Disconnected
    7/22/2022 20:39 Connection DTN Kinetick RT: (Logon failed)
    7/22/2022 20:39 Default Socket write failed in 'L1 worker': 'Input string was not in a correct format.'
    7/22/2022 20:39 Connection DTN Kinetick RT: Primary connection=Connecting, Price feed=Connecting

    Right before I get the error message "DTN Kinetick RT: (Logon Failed)", the logs print "Socket write failed in 'L1 worker': 'Input string was not in a correct format.'" <-- this indicates to me that it is attempting to pass the credential string in an incorrect format or something is corrupted... I triple verified my connection configuration inputs to ensure there are no spaces and unicode issues, and I haven't encountered this issue before today.

    Need help resolving this quickly - thanks!

      Good evening, is there an issue with forex trial data ? it will not load, it worked yesterday. I sent email to support but have not heard back, any help that helps resolve would be appreciated

        It appears to be a Kinetick data connections issue. I was able to connect to the Kinetick data feed yesterday. I am not able to connect to Kinetick this morning but I am able to connect to the other Datafeed (i.e. Continuum) fine.

        In the NT* trace fie, I do see the following error:

        2022-07-23 04:18:13:901 ERROR: Socket write failed in 'L1 worker': 'Input string was not in a correct format.'

        They might be doing some back-end maintenance over the weekend? Hopefully, this gets fixed before Monday.

          Same issue here Kinetick was fine on Friday and Login Fails today Sat 07/23/22. DTN does not show any System Status Notes

            Same issue: Kinetick started fail to connect on Friday evening 07/22/2022 with the message specified above:
            Socket write failed in 'L1 worker': 'Input string was not in a correct format

                I would say this is critical and needs a fix asap...

                Since it seems everyone experienced the issue broadly around the same time (~afternoon/evening U.S. Central Time) maybe something changed (input validation / configuration) on the NT8->DTN (Kinetick) server-side? I also checked previous backup files of my NT8 installation and the issue persists, so it doesn't seem to be on the application or client-side (unless of course the desktop app now needs a hotfix for something DTN changed -- or if there is some emergency maintenance that we're not aware of). NinjaTrader_ChelseaB thoughts?

                  Surely they are aware and working on a fix. Would be nice if support would post here if that is the case so we would know what is going on concerning a fix since we are 6 hours from needing live data again. fwiw in the last week I have emailed platformsupport and had no replies. Also email support at Kinetick with only a automated response - would be nice if they could communicate that they are aware of the issue in an email as well.

                    DTSSTS Agree - seems a lot more are affected, see Kinetick Outage? - NinjaTrader Support Forum -- same issue I'm seeing.

                      There was an issue with the Kinetick login around the time this was posted. Its should be resolved now.
