NJ8 Not Loading

I deleted and reinstalled nj8 several times. It partially loads a charts for a couple seconds then crashes. I have Windows 10 and apparently no other problems.

Please advise.

Check to see if you are running the Windows 10 OneDrive -- the built-in Cloud feature. You don't have to had manually added it; it is built into Windows 10 by default. NT8 can load key files and data onto the sections of the OS that are automatically managed by OneDrive. The two running on your computer at the same time causes conflicts that affect NT8.

Last night, I uninstalled the NJ8 and deleted its files after saving them on my computer as a drag-and-drop to another folder, and not as an official NL8 backup (because the not-loading/crashing problem occurred after my latest backup so I lost of of my newest files).

So, my question is now, how to I upload the indicators, strategies, workspaces (especially these three but the others as well) that I saved elsewhere on my computer that weren't compressed (or whatever the process is) by an official NJ8 backup?

In other words, how do I import or upload NJ8 files that weren't "backedup in a compressed NJ8-backup-file? For example, I have a bunch of ".cs" files that were saved to another folder but not as an NJ8 back up and I want to upload them to my present version.

Btw, I wish this forum were easier to search because I don't like to waste your time with questions that have been answered elsewhere. I tried and failed to solve this problem without help.

Hi Tagliareni, All the custom scripts are held within the Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom folder. The indicators go in the Indicators folder and strategies go into the Strategies folder. The workspaces you have saved will go in the Documents\NinjaTrader 8\workspaces folder. After re-installing NinjaTrader, you can add the files to these sub-folders.
