Problems when importing Tick Data LLC files

    Hello guys,

Yesterday I bought 2 years of Brazilian Mini Index (WIN) in Tick Data LLC. Im trying to import month to month data using the tutorial available at NT8 documentation. I use the TickData exemple file to extract data and generate the .txt file with the instrument name also the sufix .Last. I have the Instrument already in NT8 as you can check bellow:

I use the Historical Data import tool using the Brazilian Time Zone and the Last data, as long as the Tick Data LLC without erros. The importing file is WIN.Last.txt. And my Historical Data window shows the tick by tick data imported here:

The problem is... When I try to open a chart, the data is not there. Also, the NT8 creates another WIN instrument and configure as a stock with the wrong value of tick value and point value. I cant change the values to the right...

    Hello Gabriel Pinotti,

You will need to use the full symbol in the filename, including the expiry contract month, if the instrument is a future.

Equities don't have expiry contract months. If no expiry contract month is part of the symbol, then that would be an equity and not a future.

    From the help guide:
    "Formatting the File Name
When using the NinjaTrader format, the name of the text file to be imported must be the NinjaTrader instrument name followed by a period and "Last", "Bid", or "Ask" depending on the data type. For example:
MSFT.Last.txt for Microsoft stock last price data
ES 12-09.Bid.txt for the S&P E-mini December contract bid price data
EURUSD.Ask.txt for the Euro/U.S. dollar currency pair ask price data"

Trying WIN 08-22.Last.txt as the filename.
