Combine Holiday and Next Day as per CME Trading Days

Hi ! Is there a way to combine Holiday and the next day on daily chart ? For example : 4th of July was Independence Day holiday, so as per CME 4th and 5th of July was considered as one trading day, correct? But in my NT8 charts there are two separate daily candles for the same, so is there some way wherein it will show those two days as one combined day?

Hi ATooZ, thanks for writing in. The NinjaTrader historical data server records and sends each day regardless of trading hours template/holidays. You will need to use a 1440 Minute chart so the trading hours template is read for the holiday.

I tried with the 1440 minute chart as you suggested, but that doesn't seem to work. My chart is still showing 4th and 5th of July as two separate days (image below). Any other suggestion that may solve this problem ?

Hi ATooZ, Unfortunately, this is expected from the NInjaTrader historical data server since its recording literal days for the daily data instead of recording based on the session template from the exchange server.
