Editor doesn't remember last location between switching tabs

Something that drives me crazy is how the ninjascript editor loses it's last location when I switch from one tab to another and back. It either goes to the top of the file or somewhere else based on some logic I haven't figured out. Is there a way to prevent this, such that if I'm on line "a" within file "X", I switch to file "Y" in another tab, and when I go back to file "X" in the first tab, the cursor should be again at line "a"? If there is no solution, is there some way to get a change order in to the development team to do this? I waste an awful lot of time scrolling through files to get to where I was previously working.

I am not able to reproduce the NinjaScript Editor behavior you are reporting.

What version of NinjaTrader are you using? This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 8.0.?.?)

If you are not using the current version of NinjaTrader 8 (8.0.26.1), please upgrade your platform using the steps below and test to see if the behavior persists.

To update NinjaTrader, please follow the steps below:

• First, copy your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
• Click on the link: https://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
• Enter your license key and press Submit
• Select 'Download'
• Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.

The NinjaScript Editor is actually a third-party product from Actipro Software: https://www.actiprosoftware.com/prod...f/syntaxeditor. It would truly be very useful to have the latest version of that editor in NinjaTrader 8.

By way of working around some of the many issues with the current version of this editor in NinjaTrader 8, I always edit every file in its own editor window. Definitely not ideal, but it reduces the frustration! It really needs to be updated!
