Getting old rollover symbols for playback

Hi,
I am trying to back test through playback six months' worth of strategies. Can you please explain how I can get the back test ES-06 and ES-03 symbols so I can use playback? The ES-09 is on there but the data is only loading from I think the 16th of this month.

Hello gvaughn,

Please use the steps I have provided below to add an older expiry to your list:

• Go to Tools->Instrument Lists
• Select your list on the left
• Click add within the right panel
• Type ES 06-22 in the symbol search window
• Click Enter
• Repeat these steps to add ES 03-22
• Once finished click Ok

I was wondering if anyone knew of a faster way to download playback connection? Does anyone know how to make it download multiple days instead of just one day at a time?

Hello gvaughn,

There would not be a way to download multiple days, or faster, through the NinjaTrader Platform.

You may want to search for a 3rd party tool to download market replay data. Note, the data and 3rd party tool would be outside of the support realm of NinjaTrader.
