How to specify a different instrument for an indicator?
I opened a chart for ES 12-22, but when I open the Indicators dialog box and add an indicator, the input series box displays only ES 09-22 as an available instrument. How do I change the indicator instrument to ES 12-22?Tags: None

Hi Chelsea,
Selecting the "Do not merge" option fixed the problem for me. Now I'm curious, though -- what is the benefit of having "Merge back adjusted" selected instead? It seems strange that specifying an instrument in the Data Series dialog box wouldn't cause the chart to display that series.
In any case, thank you for taking the time to create that very helpful video!

Hello Red_70,
The ES 12-22 doesn't rollover until September 8th.
Below is a link to a forum post on how the merge policy works.

And a forum post about viewing an instrument before it's rollover date.
