place a marker, line, or text on all charts

Hi, is this possible in the global sense? Say for all instruments in a list? I want to mark holidays and market closes on ALL all charts without tedium.

Hello trader3000a,

Thank you for writing in.

There is no way to draw a line/object that only appears on a preselected list of Instruments' charts.

• You would have to go in and draw the line on each of the different Instruments at the time/date you wanted
• You could then make it a Global Drawing Object so it appeared on all other charts of the same instrument

You are able to use the "Global Drawing Objects" to draw a line across all charts of the same instrument.

• Draw the Line or whatever other drawing object you want on the chart
• Double-click the object you just drew to open its Properties menu
• Under General > Attach to > Click the dropdown menu and select the version that says (All Charts) > Click OK
  • The object will now appear on all charts of the Same Instrument
