Hi,
Is there a way to access the CME US ETH Holiday data in the "Trading Hours" template for use in creating an
[vertical line at day and time of market close (1pm on Juneteenth, for example)]
indicator that will update when you update the holidays in the database?

Just to be sure that I am providing the correct information, are you wanting to access this information with NinjaScript or are you just trying to view the holiday definitions?

Additionally, Juneteenth was added to the CME templates in advance of the holiday starting this year.

Thank you for your inquiry.

Interesting. We just recently added it so perhaps your platform doesn't have the most updated definitions. I know for a fact that that specific template has it currently, as I can see it in my platform. We will need to pull the new definitions from the database to correct this. Please go to Tools > Database Management. Expand the 'Update trading hours templates' subsection. Ensure that 'Predefined trading hour templates' is selected and select 'Update'. This should ensure that any newly added holidays will be added.

As far as pulling the holiday definitions from the database, I'd have to have one of our Engineering Support team members tap in and clarify if that's possible and how to do so. I have forwarded this ticket to them on your behalf and they will follow up with you as soon as they are available.

Hi ZacharyThanks for the database update instructions. the Juneteenth is now added. Are holidays not automatically updated? Seems like a no-brainer. If not, can we request please?

Thank you for your reply.

They are usually automatically updated when the platform is restarted. I did not have to follow the steps that I provided in order to access Juneteenth on my platform, the definition was already updated as soon as I opened the platform for the day after our Product Manager added it to the templates. The only time I'd expect to see the holiday not be added is if the platform hadn't been restarted since before we added the definitions last week or perhaps if someone is on an older build of NinjaTrader.
