Offset 1 minute candles by 30 seconds

Hi,

As they are programmed now, time-based candles open at the whole minute. For example, 1-minute chart candles open at 9:30:00, 9:31:00, 9:32:00, etc etc. I would like 1 minute candles that open at 9:30:30, 9:31:30, 9:32:30, etc etc.

I'll skip most of the code, but was hoping to write a custom hours template as such:

<Sessions>
<Session>
<BeginDay>Monday</BeginDay>
<BeginTime>830.5</BeginTime>
<EndDay>Monday</EndDay>
<EndTime>1515.5</EndTime>
<TradingDay>Monday</TradingDay>

and similar for Tuesday-Friday. NT didn't like this. Is there a different way I should be formatting the time that can make this work? Or am I not on the right track here.

Welcome to the NinjaTrader forums!

Unfortunately, trading hours templates cannot include seconds. These are hour and minute only.

I'm not certain of a workaround to cause minute bars to close every half minute. It may be necessary to open a 30 minute chart.
