Load an ES chart with all historical data from S&P 500 start date?

Hello I am curious if I can load a weekly or monthly chart for ES that contains all the historical data from when the S&P first began in the early 1900's.

Is this possible?

While the S&P 500 index has been calculated since 1957, the E-mini S&P 500 futures contract (ES) has only traded since 1997. As a result, there are no data providers that would offer data for ES going back prior to 1997.

I tried loading a weekly chart with 400 bars just to see how far back it would take me, I’m only able to get back to early 2000’s to load

Most data providers will offer 10-20 years of historical daily data. I am not aware of any specific providers that will offer data for ES going back all the way to its inception.

Ok so will NinjaTrader allow me to at least load a weekly or daily chart that will span back to the late 90’s when the ES began? If so what settings would I need to put in to achieve data to the late 90’s?

The amount of historical data that you can load is limited by what your data provider has available. Based on what you described, it sounds like your data provider only has historical data for ES going back to the early 2000s.

Pretty sure you guys provide my data? I purchased my data plan through NJ so I’m unaware if you guys source an outside company to provide it?
