Live Streaming Compatibility Issue

Hi There,

I wanted to report an issue with Ninjatrader which makes it incompatible with most live-streaming broadcast software. The Chart Canvas for every open chart is named as "Ninjatrader (null)". This makes it impossible to configure the broadcast software to display a chart source unless only one chart is open.

As you will see in the attached screenshot, there are many charts open and lots of "Ninjatrader (null)" entries representing all the chart canvases. In the Task Manager these are represented by nameless threads indicated by an Icon only.

I can't help but think this would be an easy thing for a developer to fix by introducing some form of uniqueness (even a random number would do)..... Furthermore I think it would be in Ninjatrader's commercial interests to have a Platform is streamer-friendly providing the company with a significant source of free marketing.

Thank you for your inquiry.

I can see what you mean. When I test with open broadcaster, I can see that it is the 'null' processes that have to be selected when you do a Window Share. I have submitted this as a feature request to the Development Team. I will follow up with an internal tracking number for your reference as soon as it is created.
