    Windows ARM 32bit NT only?

    Hi
    What is the actual difference in performance between NT8 64 bit and NT8 32 bit.
    I ask because I would like to use Windows for ARM on a Qualcomm cpu and I dont think Ninja is going to do a specific version for that and 32bit is the only option.
    Any info gratefully received.

    Hi poeds, thanks for posting. There are 64-bit ARM processors, but from a quick google search, it looks like Microsoft just started testing 64bit ARM in Windows 11. 32-bit applications can use a max of 2-4GB of RAM while 64bit applications can use more.

    Kind regards,
    -ChrisL

      Downloading historical data was the only difference I ever seemed to notice between
      using 32bit vs 64bit.

      I mean,
      In my experience, using the 32-bit version is ill-advised when manually downloading
      historical data, esp if you're trying to download many months of tick data for multiple
      instruments -- I've had 32-bit NT7 hang several times on my 16GB Win7 machine --
      I remember switching to the 64bit version full-time precisely due to those experiences,
      NT7 seemed to cache a lot of the downloaded data in memory before writing it to disk.

      But that was years ago ...

      Just my 2˘.
