Bad indicator? Getting Ninjascript errors.

I'm new to Ninjartader, I added a couple ninjascript indicators to the platform and seem to have one (or more) thats broken. Can someone help me to identify the problem and resolve this?

Hello Conceptzx,

These errors are caused when a .dll file is being referenced that NinjaTrader is unable to find. Can you please repair NinjaTrader to restore these .dll files.

• Shut down NinjaTrader
• Download the NinjaTrader installer file from the link below.
  https://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
• Double click the NinjaTrader.Install file.
• Repair NinjaTrader.

Once NinjaTrader is repaired, please check if these compiling errors persist.

I've done that and the errors seem to still exist. The files displayed on the error list seem to exist in their respective locations.

Can you please right click in the NinjaScript Editor and select References. Remove the .dll references for the files mentioned in the error. Subsequently add these .dll references back in the References window. Compile again and check if the errors persist.

The errors are still there and the deleted references return after I compile again.

I suggest to proceed as follows.

• Shut down NinjaTrader.
• Navigate to the Documents folder in Windows.
• Right click the "NinjaTrader 8" folder and select Rename. Name it "NinjaTrader 8 Old". This folder contains all settings and data.
• Uninstall NinjaTrader via Windows start menu-->Settings-->Apps.
• Reinstall NinjaTrader from the link below.

You will have a fresh new installation without any of your settings and data. I assume you don't have compiling errors anymore. If so, please shut down NinjaTrader and you can manually restore settings and data between the newly created "NinjaTrader 8" folder and "NinjaTrader 8 Old" folder.
