ATM with a stop loss grater than the position size.

Trying to create an ATM for a trend following stradegy. Can someone tell me if it's possible to cereate an atm with a stop loss greeater than the position?

Thank you for the note.

There is no way to create an ATM Strategy that will submit more Contracts for the Profit or Stop Loss Targets than there were Contracts in the initial Entry.

• Although, you could use the ATM Strategy to submit all of the initial targets and then go in and Manually place the additional Stop Targets

If you set up the ATM Strategy to for example use 10 contracts, the Stop Targets will total up to 10 contracts.


If your goal is to Reverse Positions and enter the market in the opposite direction when your Stops are being hit, you could use the "Reverse on Stop" setting.

Reverse at Stop

This will enter a position in the opposite direction, using the same ATM parameters, when a stop loss is hit

• Select your ATM Strategy in the dropdown menu then click edit
• Click "More" to expand the window and show the Advanced settings

If the "Reverse at Stop" setting doesn't do what you need, then you would need to look into creating your own custom NinjaScript Strategy to manage the orders on your behalf.
