Define "trade" as a single order regardless of number of contracts.
Why does the trade performance window split up single orders of multiple contracts? I assume this is because how the exchange or simulator fills the order. But, this results in incorrect information! If I do 4 trades and they were all single contract size except one of them was for 2 contracts, the "number of trades" could be 4 or 5 depending on if the order for the 2 contract trade got filled as 1 or 2. Bottom line is that this skews all the performance values that are dependent on "number of trades." For example, the above scenario, if the 2 contract trade was a loser and all the rest were winners, trade performance would post the win% as 60% or 75% depending on how the order was filled.

Hello Chippy,
Thank you for your post.
It would not be possible to merge partial fill orders into a single trade, unfortunately.
However, I have added a vote for you to a current feature request for this functionality. This request is being tracked under the number SFT-5459.
As with all feature requests, interest is tracked before implementation is considered, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment. If implemented, it will be noted in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide.

Please let us know if we may be of further assistance to you.
