Need help balancing my cash account.

When I run the Trade Performance - Analysis for the year (from 1/1/2022 to 5/16/202) my total cumulative net profit is -$1313. If i add that amount to my beginning cash balance as of 1/1/2022, it doesn't match the amount on my control center panel (under Cash Value / Net Liquidation), even after accounting for Data fees. My balance is still off by over $500.

What I'm I missing? Also, is there a way to see the daily change in the cash value on NT8?

Thank you very much for your post.

It is important to understand, that the Trade Performance report has no bearing on actual trades that occurred and should always be considered secondary to your brokerage statement.

The NinjaTrader Platform has no concept of 'trades', but simply pairs together the executions that were submitted on the same day. There are many reasons why a Trade Performance report can become out of sync. A few examples of this:

• Partial fills
• Missing executions
• Holding overnight positions
• Running a report from a start date on which you were not flat
• Using another program to place an order will not show this order in NinjaTrader, including another instance of NinjaTrader on another computer.

That said, the values provided on the Control Center's Accounts tab are, at a base level, provided from your data provider/brokerage.

Regarding the cash value; As this value is supplied directly by the brokerage, NinjaTrader only displays it but would not record it historically. As such we would not be able to display former values.
