Array size

When loading via the Add() method are there any limit / speed issues to how large that array can be? Currently load 40 bar series with 100 bars each, and looking to add two more series with 9000 bars each.

I see that you mentioned the Add() method however that is a NT7 method, we are in the NT8 forums. Which version of the platform is this question for?

NT7 and NT8 have considerable differences in performance but either should be able to handle the described use case as long as your PC can handle that.

AddDataSeries is what I am using.NT 8. Any signs that the array has become too large? regards

Thank you for clarifying. The only signs would be if your PC is running low on resources like ram, you can use the windows task manager to see how much resources are being used. If the test you use has very large memory use or is straining the CPU you could look at upgrading the PC. You can find the PC requirements here: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...quirements.htm

Coming back to this old thread - is there an optimal way to list the added data series (perhaps grouping 1 minute series together) to optimized data loading times?
