I cannot restore a backup to a 8.0.26.0 version

I am unable to restore a backup made with a 8.0.25.0 version to a new 8.0.26.0 version just released. After the restore process, it says it couldn't be done because it could corrupt the files.

I tried from an 8.0.25.0 version to the same version and it works.

EDIT - So this boils down to a limitation in the NinjaTrader.Custom architecture where Resources in bin/Custom include resources for system NinjaScripts and custom NinjaScripts. These get included in a backup. If we change resources inside a system NinjaScript in a new version, backups created created from old versions will show this error.

Changing this involves large changes that could be very impactful, and will be left for now.

The workaround would be to import the custom NinjaScripts from the backup manually.

You can rename the .nt8bk file extension to .zip, and you can open it like a regular zip file. From inside the zip, you can navigate to the bin\Custom\ folder and move any NinjaScript source code files to the associated folder in your Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\ folder.
