This error indicates that NinjaTrader was not able to write to your hard drive while installing.

If you have an active security suite (e.g. Norton, Avast, Bitdefender), please ensure that NinjaTrader's installer is allowed to access your hard drive.

If you have trouble tracking down which application is blocking the installation, please send us a note at platformsupport (at) ninjatrader (dot) com, we can then best assist further!

I don't have any software that would block that I'm aware of. The configuration is the same that I've been using to update past NT versions.

Please send us your platform's log & trace files. As these files contain any errors or issues the platform experiences, we might be able to track down why this occurs based on these files.

To do this, please follow the steps below:

• Open the Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to, "Documents" > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
• Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
• Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to platformsupport (at) ninjatrader (dot) com, with the following note: ATTN Manfred 3608662
• Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
