Need to delete or completely remove Ninjatrader Strategies from Ninjatrader8

HI need some help on how to remote strategies from the Ninjatrader8. They are codes that have been compiled and just sitting in the list of strategies that are not needed anymore.
Don't find any option to remove them. Any help is appericiated.

Thank you very much for your post.

As this seems to be in reference to NinjaTrader 8, I've moved your post to our NinjaTrader 8 forum.

To remove these strategies, please click on New > NinjaScript Editor, then unfold the "Strategies" folder therein. This would show all integrated and custom strategies.

By right-clicking and removing the individual strategies they would then be removed from NinjaTrader.

You can also delete or move from ...\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\Strategies
once the files are gone they are removed from list of compiled code upon compile operation.

I have exported a strategy from Strategy Builder and imported it again on another VPS. This strategy cannot be edited or deleted as it does not appear in the Strategy Builder, does not appear in the NinjaScript Editor, and does not appear in the NinjaScript Assembly. It can only be placed on a chart as a strategy. The strategy is also not available in the file system C:\Users\EAUser\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\Strategies. How to remove such invisible strategy from NinjaTrader?

If this strategy was something that you created and the strategy cannot be removed with any of the aforementioned methods, I would suggest contacting our Engineering Support team directly at scriptingsupport(at)ninjatrader(dot)com. If this strategy was created by a third party, please contact the developer.

I have found a solution. I have copied the strategy.cs file from the other vps into bin\Custom\Strategies. Now I could delete the strategy.

Hi rgordon999, Try to copy a strategy file with the name of the strategy you want to delete (mystrategy.cs) into C:\Users\MyUser\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\Strategies and then delete the strategy.
