Sounds not working on NT 8

I can not get sounds to play for any action and they appear to be properly configured. I've uninstalled and re-installed twice but no luck.

Hello derivjack,

First go to Tools->Options-Hover over each sound->Select "Choose file"->reselect the sound file for each->Click Ok.

If the issue persists please right click on the speaker in the lower right hand corner of the Windows task bar-->Open Volume Mixer and confirm NinjaTrader and Applications are not currently muted.

If there is nothing muted right click on the speaker again->Select "Troubleshoot sound problems" then once completed reboot your PC and test once again.

Thanks...but I also tried all those things above. "Alert1" for some reason works and can be assigned to other sounds...but the others simply don't work. System volume is totally fine. Sent NT an email and received "We have had a few other users report similar behavior on the newest version of NinjaTrader 8 that we are still investigating for a cause and solution"

Since this was already previously reported to our support team and they are looking into the issue they will send you a follow up once they have gathered additional information from the development team on how to resolve the issue and what caused this behavior within the latest version of NinjaTrader 8.
