Spelling mistake in Nymex trading hours template?

is there a spelling mistake in the Nymex trading hours templates or is this really correct?

Thank you for writing in.

I am not sure what word you are suggesting is spelled incorrectly within the Red Box.

• If it is that there are two different Trading Hours templates with a similar name:
  • Click each of them and you will see they have different times defined so it isn't just a duplicate with a different but similar name

Here is an example of what the Trading Hours templates look like within my platform:

in advance... I'm not a CL or GC trader.... so I don't understand the the naming of the Nymex templates.
E.g. why is it 'Nymex Energy RTH' and not 'Nymex Metals - Energy RTH' for example (compared to the existing 'Nymex Metals - Energy ETH').

Is it because 'Nymex Energy RTH' is only used for GC and not CL & co but the ETH session ('Nymex Metals - Energy ETH') is used for both GC, CL & co?
And then all those additional RTH templates - do each 'metal' have its own (different) RTH session?

Thank you for the note.

The names they are given tend to be relevant to the types of instruments that are traded in a similar time frame, but it isn't always the reason.

• From looking at these Trading Hours templates, the ETH template applies to all of the products so it's called Metals - Energy, while the RTH ones are named differently because each one applies to a different product and has different hours.
• While the names tend to apply to the instruments that most often use the template, the name technically has absolutely no effect on how the template works.
  • You could call your Trading Hours Template "Peanut Butter" and it wouldn't change how it functions.

The Trading hours templates that are assigned are purely suggestions and if you would like to change your charts or instruments to use a different Trading Hours template, that is totally up to you.

If there isn't a trading hours template that provides your desired Trading Hours, then you could create your own custom Trading Hours template. Please see the link below for more information on creating your own Trading Hours template:
