    break even isn't break even

Hi, I wonder if I have a setting wrong somewhere. If i buy a contract, and then buy another below the first entry and move my profit target to break even according to NT, and the limit is hit, I'm not at 0 - commissions, I'm still quite negative. The break even line moves itself higher once the b/e limit is hit. Any suggestions?
    thanks,
    David

    Hello David,

This is because it pairs the first entry order with the first exit order. When you get into a position with 2 entry orders (with the 2nd entry order at a lower price), it will show the average entry price which is lower than the entry price of the 1st order. Instead of moving the profit target to the average entry price, you could move it to the entry price of the first entry order instead.

I assume the Auto Breakeven adjusts the stop loss to the entry price of the first entry order which is higher than the average entry price.
