Adding to an Open position ??

Can someone please help with adding to an Open position

I am Short the M2K with 1 contract and would like to add 1 more contract to my already Short position

Is it as easy as Selling Short ( Sell Mkt ) 1 contract?
Or are there other needed steps that I need to do?

Hello mdsvtr19,

Yes, you would submit another sell order for a quantity of 1. Once it fills, it will put you in a short position for 2 contracts.
