In the Strategy Analyzer
is it only possible to use with Live Data that has been recorded ?

when I try it on my historical playback data,
the reports will only show one days worth of trading and its normally as the same day the playback is currently running at.
even if I have several days of data loaded up on the charts. say example, I'm running a 3 week playback timeframe.

or dose Playback Mode matter? Historical compared to Market Replay to use Analyzer Properly?

Thank you for your post.

Generally, using the Strategy Analyzer with the Playback Connection together is highly discouraged, as this is problematic, and I believe at some point in the near future the ability to run backtests in the Strategy Analyzer will be disabled when connected to the Playback connection.

Basically, what happens when you're connected to the Playback connection and run the Strategy Analyzer, Historical data requests are influenced by the slider position. The Playback slider's location is considered the present. This means Historical data in the future of the Playback slider are not available to the Strategy Analyzer, so if you're trying to backtest days ahead of that point, it wouldn't do so.

You should disconnect from the Playback Connection and connect to a live data connection that provides historical data for the instrument you are testing in order to use the Strategy Analyzer successfully.
