How to clear NinjaTrader 8\db\cache folder folder

Hello dear Ninja Team!

Examining the free and used space on my hard drive - in the Documents\NinjaTrader 8\db\cache folder, 31 GB is already occupied.

My question is - how can I clean it up without damaging the program?

Hello,

The data in the cache folder is not critical to the platform, so this file can actually be deleted without causing problems. However, I would note that is abnormally large for the cache file, so something may be writing data there unintentionally. If this is a recent problem I would note what was added to the platform that may be responsible.

This is critical:
Before deleting the cache folder, first exit NinjaTrader.

After deleting the cache folder, restart NinjaTrader.

If no cache folder exists,
NinjaTrader will automatically create the cache folder on startup.

As far as regularity,
Although there is nothing wrong doing this every day, deleting
the cache folder every weekend is probably often enough.

Also, whenever I see any kind of data issue or discrepancy,
I always delete the cache folder and reload historical data,
which usually fixes the problem.
