Tmp folder content deleted by mistake

Hi

I currently have a ninjatrader8 lifetime License. I have deleted by mistake the content/files inside the “tmp” folder within the “NinjaTrader8” folder - I was basically doing some cleaning to enhance speed/performance.
Would this cause any unwanted issue ?

Ps: I’ve only deleted the content within the “tmp” folder, Not the folder itself.

Thank you for writing in.

If you just deleted the contents of the tmp folder there should be no negative effects on the platform.

As well, it is never suggested to go into the NinjaTrader files and start deleting files without a specific reason or directions to do so as you could accidentally remove an important file.

• If you are running out of Storage Space on your Hard Drive, then we could specify a few files like old Backup files or the Historical Data files to remove
• Otherwise, NinjaTrader performance related behaviors are best handled by modifying your Workspace and how it is set up

If you didn't have a "tmp" folder within the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 folder, it can cause the platform to not start.

• Either go to the Documents folder > NinjaTrader 8 > Right-click in here > New Folder > Call it "tmp"
• Or, go to the Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features > Click NinjaTrader 8 > Click Repair > Click Next through the prompts and wait for it to finish

Other than that, deleting this folder should have no negative effects on the NinjaTrader platform.
