Simulated data feed chart plots an extraneous price and shows an incorrect time scale

I had been using the simulated data feed function to debug my strategy script when the starting behavior of the chart suddenly changed. Now, when I connect to the simulated data feed, the chart starts in this state:

Although new price data is being displayed at about 4519, an extraneous starting price appears at about 4484. Also, the time scale shows 09:33 when the correct time is 15:47, as shown in the NT log window. I have closed and reopened the NinjaTrader app, and have also tried renaming the Config.xml file so that a new one would be created at the next restart. Neither of these approaches has solved the problem. My chart Data Series settings are as follows:

I have also tried generating simulated data based on a different instrument, but that didn't help.


How can I solve this problem with the simulated data feed?

Hello Red_70,

Can you please go to Control Center-->Tools-->Instruments. Double click the ES futures and change the 'Sim feed start price' setting to a price that is close to last price loaded in the chart. Click OK and Close. Connect to the Simulated Data Feed again.
