reconfiguring the DOM to show real P&L?

See attached pic. Is there any way to reconfigure the DOM to show the actual profit or loss for the day's trading, which would include commissions and fees in the number shown?

Thank you for writing in.

It looks like you have already done the first step, but I am sharing for other users in case they see this forum post.

The first change you would make is to right-click on the SuperDOM window > Properties > General

• Show realized PnL when flat > Check this box > Click OK
  • Displays realized profit and loss for the selected account when flat

Within the Options, modify the following setting:

• Go to the Control Center > Tools > Options > Categories > Trading > Properties > Calculations
• Check the box next to "Use Total PnL for Show Realized PnL When Flat"
  • Enables or disabled Total PnL rather than Gross PnL being displayed in order entry windows when Show realized PnL when flat is also enabled.

When I'm in Tools, Options, Categories, Trading, Calculations, there's a line that says "Use last price for PnL". What does that mean? What happens if this box is checked vs unchecked?

The following definition is from the link above:

• Use last price for PnL

  Sets if the last trade price is used to calculate profit and loss, or if the Bid will be used for long positions and the Ask for short positions.

  • If checked, it will use the Last Traded price for the PnL Calculation
  • If unchecked, it will use the Bid for Long Positions and Ask for Short positions
