    Playback is so glitcyhy!!

    When I hit play, the candle is frozen, then the next candle jumps to a different spot. I have attached a screenshot.
    My historical data I downloaded is from 3/1-3/28, the data series has all 28 days loaded. I use the Go To function to go the date and time I need.

    I tried to still practice in play back with all the glitches and I had my order there and the price moved right pass it and didn't take.

      Thank you for writing in.

      Please remember that the visual interface only updates at a 1 Second interval for Performance reasons when you are using the Playback Connection.
      • Even though the NinjaTrader UI's are only visually updating at 1-second intervals, orders and indicators will calculate just as they were running in real-time

      As for your Order, it looks like it is a Stop Limit Order.
      • Please remember that a Limit Order guarantees a Price, it does not guarantee a fill
      • A Limit order will only fill at the Limit Price or Better
      • Depending on the volume at the different price levels around the time the market was around your order, the market could have been moving too fast with too few orders at the Limit Price or better causing your order to be missed leaving you in a position
      Although, we would need to analyze your Log and Trace files to give an accurate description of what happened with your order and why it didn't fill.


      As a note for your future screenshots, please make sure to include the entire chart window in your screenshots
      • The screenshots provided do not show a Price Axis, a Time Axis, What Instrument is selected, or what Interval the chart is set to.
      • I know you included additional screenshots to show this, but including the entire chart in the screenshot would have also shown this information

      For example, here is what my chart looked like when I was playing back the NQ 06-22 contract at the time showing on the playback tile in your screenshot:

      If you would like more detailed information on what happened with your order, please use the steps below to send us your Log, Trace, and Database files so I can look into these orders further:
      • Go to the Control Center > Help > Email Support
      • Enter your email
      • Enter the Subject as "Clayton ATTN 3548799"
      • Expand the "Other files" section
      • Check the following boxes:
        • Log and Trace files
        • Database File
      • Send the message
