Strategy buildr feature grayed out

Hello,
Some indicators have the Offset features grayed out ( see image below) How do I create an offset of an indicator so it becomes a part of the condition? Or that is not possible? Say I want to enter when close cross above the Moving avg. offset a # of ticks below/above? Thank you.

Thanks for your post.

Unfortunately, this would be a limitation of the Strategy Builder when using CrossAbove or CrossBelow conditions.

If you would like to apply an offset to the indicator in your condition, you would need to use a 'Greater' comparison instead of 'Cross above' comparison. Similarly, you would need to use a 'Less' comparison instead of 'Cross below'.
