Can I use TD Ameritrade as a data provider for NT8? What kind of data types are supported?

Since, we don't get tick data with either IB or TD, would the core Kinetick data suffice to provide Historical tick data and real time tick data using IB? I want to get started with renko charts and was wondering if just the core Kinetick package along with IB RT data be sufficient.

Kinetick's Basic Service subscription provides historical data for most supported exchanges, including all supported stock exchanges such as the NYSE and NASDAQ.

When working with multiple connections in NinjaTrader 8, you can set a preferred connection for real-time and historical data for each instrument type. Here is a link to the NinjaTrader Help Guide with more information about setting preferred data connections:

Thank you for your reply.

You can still connect to TD Ameritrade within the NinjaTrader Desktop platform, as long as you have Multi Provider Mode enabled. Here is a link with more information about enabling Multi Provider Mode:

In order to place trades from NinjaTrader to TD Ameritrade, you will need to either have a multi broker license key or you will need to purchase the Multi Broker Addon by logging into the account dashboard.
